Michael Stopp

Michael Stopp is a graphics designer who worked with Philip Jespersen and created the original Supaplex for Amiga. The intro credits screen mentions his role simply as "Graphics". The main menu credits screen credits him with making "nearly all levels".

Barbara Stopp

Barbara Stopp is a relative of Michael Stopp. She worked on the levels for the original levelset. Her credit in main menu is "Hardly any levels by Barbara Stopp".

The title of the level 28 of the original set "Babaโ€™s Work" implies her authorship.

Phillip Jespersen

Phillip Jespersen is a software engineer who worked with Michael Stopp and created the original Supaplex for Amiga. On the intro credits screen his role is simply "Program". The main menu credits screen credits him with making "a few levels".

The title of the level 63 of the original set "Philโ€™s First!" implies his authorship.

Robin Heydon

Robin Heydon is a software engineer who is responsible for adapting the Amiga Supaplex for PC. He also massively overhauled the game mechanics, making the PC version very different from the Amiga version.

He is credited as "PC Code" on the intro credits screen. Sometimes he is referred to as "PC Code guy".

In 2012 he wrote a book titled Bluetooth Low Energy: The Developerโ€™s Handbook.

David Whittaker is a video game composer who created music and sound effects for the original Supaplex. He is credited with "Music/FX" on the intro credits screen.

Elmer

Maarten "Elmer" Egmond is a software engineer who worked on the SpeedFix patch for Supaplex.

Online known as Elmer and Elmer Productions.

He is the author of Igor, a video game initially envisioned as Supaplex 2.

HPerk

Herman "HPerk" Perk is a software engineer who worked on the SpeedFix patch for Supaplex.

He has a son, Dnii, who is also a supaplexer.

Gregot

Greg "Gregot" Piwowarczyk is a polish supaplexer responsible for Supaplex Online. He translated Supaplex C source code to Javascript and created the vector graphics for the vector renderer. He is the current admin and sole developer of Supaplex Online and self-appointed custodian of Supaplex.

Gregot is a freelance webmaster. His birthday is January 14th.

The nickname "Gregot" is a combination of "Greg" and "Godot". It references a theatre play "Waiting for Godot" and his discomfort of making players wait for updates to Supaplex. It also references an infamous set of levels named after the theatrical play.

On December 5th 2024 Paulo Matoso transfered supaplex.com domain to Gregot.

c64cosmin

Cosmin "c64cosmin" Munteanu is a software engineer and graphics designer.

He improved some retro renderer sprites and contributed additional art to vector renderer.

He released his own BD clone called One More Gem.

Holger Schemel

Holger Schemel is a software engineer and author of Rocks'n'Diamonds. He obtained Supaplex source code in BASIC and translated it to C to include Supaplex into Rโ€™nโ€™D. His C code later became the basis for Supaplex Online. He created new, more detailed 32x32 sprites of Supaplex objects, closely following the original 16x16 designs.

He contributed his 32x32 Supaplex graphics to Megaplex.

Online he is known as Artsoft Entertainment and simply Artsoft.

Jennifer Diane Reitz

Jennifer Diane Reitz is an American writer, webcomic author, and game designer. She is relevant to Supaplex, because of the Boppin-Supaplex connection.

Cilliรฉ Malan

Cilliรฉ Malan is a software and hardware developer and a supaplexer. He made efforts to decompile the Supaplex executable and understand the resulting assembly code, because he was under the assumption that SpeedFix source code had been lost. The resulting assembly was used by sergiou87 as the basis for OpenSupaplex.

Wojciech Nowicki

Wojciech "WN" Nowicki is a legendary supaplexer notable for his level making skills.

WN made over 180 levels to universal acclaim. His first levelset dates back to at least 2001. He returned to activity in 2023 and is still active in 2026.

He is the admin of the Gry Logiczne website.
